Our English Bridle Leather is slowly vegetable tanned with the right amount of waxes, greases and tallows producing a strong, weather resistant and long lasting Leather.
— For cleaning and quick softening we have available our choice of Saddle Soap.
— For replenishing worn leather we suggest our Quick Penetrating - Low Residue Oil.
These two products will cover the needs of our Bridle Leathers. The Saddle Soap is a wonderful choice for Softening and Feeding the Leather. Just dampen a soft cloth, swirl up a liitle paste and rub into the strap paying attention to the backside. Let stand a minute and "slick" through a clean cloth. This will keep that smooth rubbery feel to your Bridle Leathers. If you have an older piece that seems dry you can apply with a small sponge brush our choice of Saddlers Grade Oil to the strap. This Oil is a low residue ,fast penetrating type that leaves no sticky feel , it will lightly darken your strap. I don't suggest heavy oils as they discolor, attract dirt and leave a tacky residue.
